Showcasing Derrick Williams' Raw Talent (Videos)

Derrick Williams is a rookie forward for the Minnesota Timberwolves, who was the second pick in last year's NBA Draft out of Arizona. Going into the All-Star break, Williams has produced an up and down rookie season, averaging 7.3 points and 4.2 rebounds, while helping bring the Wolves back to respectability.

Minnesota currently owns a 17-17 record.

During the course of the season, Williams has shown many nice flashes, including some rather impressive dunks. These efforts have earned him a spot in Saturday's 2012 Sprite Slam Dunk Contest and Friday's 2012 BBVA Rising Stars Challenge, where he will play for “Team Chuck.”

Above is iFollowSports.com original video of Williams honing his free throw stroke, before his first career start, a Wolves victory over the Kings at Target Center.

In addition, here is a piece of iFollowSports.com original video showcasing a Williams dunk, during a summer league game in Long Beach, California. A game that featured many prominent NBA players, including Thunder superstar Kevin Durant.

Take a look at iFollowSports.com original video of Durant's spectacular performance from the October exhibition game.
