Cris Carter Book Signing Appearance (Video)
Cris Carter is a former All-Pro NFL wide receiver and current ESPN analyst, who played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings and briefly, the Miami Dolphins. Carter, who was a supplemental draft pick in 1987, had his best days in Minnesota, where he played from 1990-2001. The Ohio State alum turned out to be one of the best receivers to ever play the game, catching 1,101 passes, for 13,899 receiving yards and 130 touchdowns. The eight-time Pro Bowl selection and two-time First Team All-Pro honoree was a member of the 1990's NFL All- Decade Team. This long list of accolades would later earn Carter a spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Last month, he was inducted as part of the class of 2013.
Saturday, Carter was back in Minnesota, promoting his new book, Going Deep: How Wide Receivers Became the Most Compelling Figures in Pro Sports. The appearance took place at the Mall of America. Above is iFolloSports.com original video of Carter signing copies of his book, while interacting with his many fans. Carter also participated in a radio interview, during the course of the day.
Even with Carter being out of football, since 2002, he is still clearly a very prominent figure in NFL circles.
