Oilers Sensation Connor McDavid Signing Autographs (Video)
Above is iFolloSports.com original video of Edmonton Oilers phenom Connor McDavid signing autographs shorty after the conclusion of Edmonton’s morning skate on Thursday, prior to that evening’s game against the Los Angeles Kings. The Oilers took the ice at the Toyota Sports Center, the Kings’ El Segundo (CA) practice rink.

McDavid entered the NHL as perhaps the most heralded prospect since Sidney Crosby. The now 19-year-old was selected with the first overall pick in the 2015 draft, after growing up just outside of Toronto. At the beginning of this season, McDavid became the youngest team captain in league history.
During his rookie campaign, the center scored 16 goals and tallied 32 assists in 45 games. He missed a significant portion of his first season, due to a broken clavicle.
In the first 18 games of this season, McDavid leads his team in total points with 19 (5 goals, 14 assists).
Oiler fans most certainly hope that McDavid lives up to his billing, to the point that he brings the storied NHL franchise back to a level it once new, when a couple guys named Gretzky and Messier took the ice at the famed Northlands Coliseum.
2016-2017 marks the first season for the Oilers in Rogers Place, Edmonton’s new $480 million (Canadian dollars) arena.
