Fan Photo Submission: Seven-time NBA Champion Robert Horry

Richard Harris, the former ESPN production assistant turned successful boys varsity basketball coach at Malibu High School (entering his fourth year) sends along this photo with one of the greatest winners in American history, former NBA stalwart Robert Horry.
The picture was gathered at Camp Lakers, which is currently taking place at the Next Level Sports Complex, in the Orange County city of Garden Grove, California. Harris and Horry had previously met during a taping of the former Spike TV program “Pros vs. Joes.”
The now 46-year-old Horry played 16 NBA seasons, winning the NBA championship in seven of those campaigns. The Alabama alum won two with the Rockets, three with the Lakers and two with the Spurs, amid hitting clutch postseason shots in every one of these stops. Horry’s proclivity for the big moment earned him the nickname “Big Shot Bob.”
For his career, Horry averaged 7.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists, during the regular season, while tallying 7.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists all told in the postseason.
These days, Horry serves as a Lakers analyst for Spectrum SportsNet.
