TwinsFest is the team’s annual three-day winter event, which includes many current and former players signing autographs and interacting with fans. The gala also features a large memorabilia show.

Hunter played nine of his 17 full MLB seasons with the Twins. All told, the Arkansas native was a five-time all-star, nine-time gold glove winner and two-time silver slugger winner. Hunter, who also spent time with the Angels and Tigers, finished with 353 career home runs, and 2,452 hits, amid a career average of .277.

Now a member of the Twins Hall of Fame, the 42-year-old Hunter was one of Minnesota’s most popular players, during the last 25 years.

In retirement, Hunter remains very involved with the Twins, including serving as a part-time television color analyst and working as a special assistant in the baseball operations department.
