A Tour Of The Future Raiders Las Vegas Practice Facility | Video

Raiders Las Vegas Training FacilityOver the last few days, the NFL team that has made perhaps the biggest offseason splash just so happens to be the current Oakland and future Las Vegas Raiders. Once believed to be a cash strapped organization, the team is suddenly awash in money, one year before moving into a brand new $1.8 billion stadium in Nevada.

All told, the Raiders have committed $160 million to the acquisitions of Antonio Brown, Trent Brown and Tyrell Williams.

While the 550-mile move from Oakland to Vegas very much centers on the franchise’s spectacular new 65,000-seat palace, it is worth noting one more aspect of the Raiders transformation from old and cheap to state-of-the-art and rich.

The future Las Vegas squad has broken ground on a 323,000-square-foot practice facility and corporate headquarters in the southern Vegas suburb of Henderson, nine miles south of their new home venue, which sits on the opposite side of I-15 from the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.

Found at the intersection of St. Rose Parkway and Executive Airport Drive, the complex features offices for both the football and business side of the operation, along with three outdoor practice fields, 100-yard and 50-yard indoor fields, locker, training, weight, film and dining facilities, as well as a swimming pool and 200-seat theater.

Below is a video tour of the compound, which is slated to open in time for the club’s first season in Sin City.
