Lindsey Vonn Appearance In Her Hometown (Videos)
Last Friday, iFolloSports.com was at the Afton Alps ski resort in Minnesota, as Lindsey Vonn made a special appearance in conjunction with the facility's Fall Fair and Swap event. During the course of the event, Vonn also promoted the Vail Resorts' Epic Pass program. Afton Alps was recently purchased by Vail Resorts, a Colorado based company.
Vonn, a 2010 Olympic Gold Medalist and four-time World Cup overall champion, was born in Minnesota, where she raced a number of times at Afton Alps. In addition, she spent much of her youth at Buck Hill, located in the Twin Cities suburb of Burnsville. At the age of 11, Vonn moved with her family to Vail, Colorado, in order to advance her career.
Vonn is well known for her success on the slopes, numerous endorsement deals and nowadays, her ongoing relationship with Tiger Woods. As a result, Vonn's appearance drew a very large crowd.
