Jemma The Raccoon Favors China & Russia In Olympic Medal Race

Jemma The Raccoon First there was Paul the octopus, who successfully predicted the outcome of all of Germany's matches in the 2010 World Cup. Then, there was Maggie the monkey who spun a wheel on Canadian television to pick winners of this year's Stanley Cup playoff games. Now, we have Jemma the raccoon as the latest member of the psychic animal community.

Jemma, a resident of the Tula Zoo (Russia), faced four tasty buns with the names of countries written on them.  She chose China to win the most medals in the Olympics, with Russia finishing in second place.

Before you discount Jemma's prognosticating, her handler claims she correctly predicted Spain to win the 2012 European soccer championships.
