Keith Moon To Make The Ultimate Comeback At London 2012?

Keith Moon and London OlympicsThe London Olympic Organizing Committee is planning to feature British rock and roll stars during its closing ceremony on August 12.

With this in mind, organizers contacted the manager of the iconic rock group The Who, to see if legendary bad boy drummer Keith Moon would be interested in participating.

This was a great idea except for the fact that Moon died 34 years ago from a drug overdose.

Band manager Bill Curbishley emailed back saying that "Keith now resides in Golders Green crematorium, having lived up to The Who's anthemic line 'I hope I die before I get old.'"

Perhaps, they should get John Lennon and George Harrison to perform a Beatles reunion medley instead.
