Curling Stars Team Shuster Makes An Appearance In Their Home State (Video)
During the 2018 Winter Olympics, held in Pyeongchang, South Korea, this past February, there were many highlights for the United States, including 23 total medals, nine of which being Gold. One of those Gold’s was awarded to a suddenly famous group of curlers known as Team Shuster.
This past Saturday, iFolloSports.com captured the below original video of Team Schuster, as they appeared at Fan HQ, in the Twin Cities suburb of Minnetonka, Minnesota. The group took photos with fans and signed autographs during the event.
Led by John Shuster (the skip), the squad came back from the brink of elimination and beat powerhouse Sweden 10-7, to the earn the United States its first-ever curling Gold Medal.
Every member of Team Shuster hails from Minnesota, with all of them being members of the Duluth Curling Club. Team members Tyler George, John Landsteiner and Joe Polo were also in attendance, at the Minnetonka event.
This remarkable team has made numerous appearances since their victory and has really put the sport of curling on the map in the United States.
