Brawl Of The Year In Brazilian Soccer

Votuporanguense and Fernandopolis brawlVotuporanguense and Fernandopolis recently played a soccer match in the Sao Paulo (Brazil) second division state championships.

During the second half, Fernandopolis' goalkeeper took down the striker for Votu and then all heck broke loose.

Punches and flying kicks followed (most didn't connect), but there were some injuries. Things finally calmed down, as the ref issued 11 more red cards (expulsions), including one that looked like it was meant for a riot policeman.

Votu was awarded a 2-1 victory.
