Real Madrid Living Large in Los Angeles (Videos & Photos)Legendary Spanish football franchise Real Madrid has descended upon Los Angeles for preseason training camp. This nearly 6,000 mile voyage coincides with the team's game against the LA Galaxy, played last Saturday at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, and Wednesday's contest vs. Chivas Guadalajara, played at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. 2011 marks the second straight year that Real Madrid has chosen to prepare for the season in the City of Angels.

During their visit to LA, the team is basing themselves between the North Athletic Fields of UCLA, in the Westwood section of the city, and the luxury hotel offerings of the Beverly Hills Hotel. These two destinations are located five minutes apart from one another on Sunset Boulevard.

The team arrives each day by bus and is escorted to the Student Activities Center, via a series of golf carts, guarded by security barriers.

After setting up shop, superstar forward Cristiano Ronaldo and his fellow teammates exit the Student Activities Center and head over to the fields via the same escorted carts.

This area represents the best place for fans to garner autographs from members of the team. Take a look at young goaltending prospect Tomas Mejias giving ample time to the assembled group of adoring fans.

Star midfielder Kaka also took the opportunity to say hello to the team's many Southern California followers.

Real Madrid's practice field is protected by a tarp, blocking view for anyone standing on the other side of the fence.

Here is a photo of the practice field, a couple hours prior to the team's arrival.

As previously mentioned, the club is staying at the legendary Beverly Hills Hotel. Opened in 1912, this luxury property still shines brightly amid the sunshine and palm trees of Beverly Hills. Here is a look at Real Madrid's digs during their stay in LA.

After two successful preseason trips to Los Angeles, it looks like the sight of Real Madrid in Southern California may well become a long standing summer tradition.
