The Iconic Michael Phelps Spotted In Louisville

Last week, Olympic swimming legend Michael Phelps was spotted in downtown Louisville. The 28-time Olympic medal winner was in the birthplace of Muhammad Ali, in conjunction with a speaking appearance at the Connect Marketplace conference, held at the Kentucky International Convention Center.

Phelps’ unprecedented résumé includes a record 23 Olympic Gold Medals, earned over the course of four summer games. The Baltimore native has participated in every games, dating back to 2000, but only began his collecting of medals at the 2004 gathering in Athens.

Away from the pool, the now 34-year-old is married to former Miss California Nicole Johnson, with the couple serving as parents to two young boys.

The family of four currently calls the Phoenix suburb of Paradise Valley, Arizona home.
